Sworn translations for legal and official use
For official documents, an accurate and legally valid translation is essential. As a sworn translator, I provide sworn translations that meet the applicable requirements of agencies, organizations, and authorities.
What does my translation service entail?
My translation services focus on official, legal, and professional documents where a usable and accurate translation is important.
A sworn translation is provided with a declaration, signature, and stamp, and is officially recognized by authorities in the Netherlands.
Every translation is carefully checked for:
Substantive accuracy
Terminology and context
Consistency and readability
Translation languages:
I provide sworn translations for the following languages:
Czech ↔ Dutch
Russian ↔ Dutch
Slovak ↔ Dutch
For Polish, I provide exclusively interpreting services and no sworn translations. I do not provide sworn translations to and from English. In the Netherlands, separate registration as a sworn translator is required for every language combination. I do not hold this registration for English.

Apostilles are issued by the court and not by the translator themselves. If desired, I can handle the application and processing of an apostille for a fee.

Potential requirements of the receiving authority. If desired, it can be agreed in advance whether a sworn translation is necessary.
Method:
Every translation assignment starts with a brief consultation regarding:
The type of document
The purpose of the translation
Any requirements of the receiving authority
When determining the costs and delivery time, factors such as the word count, desired delivery speed, and the complexity of the document layout are taken into account. Based on this, you will receive clear information regarding the approach, delivery time, and costs.
Verification and apostille:
For sworn translations, an authority may require additional verification or legalization. A sworn translation is provided with a declaration, signature, and stamp of the sworn translator.
In some cases, an apostille is also required. An apostille is issued by the court and confirms the authority of the sworn translator.
If necessary, the requirements applicable to the country or agency for which the translation is intended can be agreed upon in advance.
